More than 130 cultural institutions signed the BERLINER ERKLÄRUNG DER VIELEN ( Berlin Declaration of the Many) to speak out for “open and critical dialogue that creates awareness in regards to right-wing strategies” and “reject the illegitimate attempts made by right-wing nationalists to exploit art and cultural events for their own purposes”.  Click HERE to learn more in English or on the button below to visit the German version of the website.

Focus Canada at ETB | IPAC

Thanks to the generous support of the Canadian Embassy in Berlin, ETB | IPAC is very excited to present the work of a series of Canadian theater makers and performers over the next six months. The field of performing arts in Canada is incredibly diverse, featuring a broad variety of themes, performative forms and aesthetic experiments. Internationally, Canadian work appears at an increasing number of festivals, such as last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival where CanadaHub, a showcase for new work from Canada, generated huge interest and was awarded multiple prizes.

FOCUS CANADA begins with Mouthpiece, the multiple award-winning production by Quote Unquote Collective from Toronto (June 5 – 7) and a solo show by the Canadian-Croatian stand-up comic Daniel Ryan-Spaulding (June 9). FOCUS CANADA will continue in the fall of 2018.
