Made in Berlin
The Producing Series – Made in Berlin is dedicated to our in-house productions and co-productions with Berlin’s independent performing arts community, the Freie Szene. These range in form from innovative productions of plays in our 120-seat black box theater to site-specific performances throughout Berlin and everything in between. What unites these productions is a focus on English as a working language and the conscious use of the one-of-a-kind Berliner Mischung of international theatrical forms and traditions only found here.
The Producing Series – Made in Berlin also comprises the Expo Festival: A Showcase of Wahlberliner, our annual festival of Berlin-based international artists, THE LAB, our artist and audience development series and Science&Theatre, an exciting collaboration with Dr. Regine Hengge of Humboldt-Universität.
