The Expo Festival: A Showcase of Wahlberliner is an annual festival that debuted in 2013.
English Theatre Berlin | International Performing Arts Center puts its Miete where its mouth is with this festival featuring our most important resource – the community of international immigrant artists and the English-language Freie Szene.
To kick things off on Sunday, April 28, we invite you to spend an afternoon with us at ExpLoRE, the format for newcomers, shorter performances and work-in-progress taking place throughout our entire facility, from our stage to our dressing rooms to our breathtaking courtyard. In between the performances, you can enjoy fantastic food, luxurious libations and magnificent music by international, Berlin-based musicians.
Over the six evenings from April 29 through May 4, the Expo features one performance per evening on our stage.
The 2019 Expo is curated by Daniel Brunet, Olivia Hyunsin Kim and Shlomo Lieberman with technical direction and production management by Ralf Arndt, Torsten Litschko and Moritz Meyer
