The festival has received generous support from Culture Ireland. In recent years, theatre makers, filmmakers, authors and artists in Dublin, Cork, Sligo and Galway have focused strongly on topics dealing with contemporary Irish history, from dealing with outsiders and immigrants to the social consequences of the global financial crisis and are experimenting with new forms, especially in theatre.

Since the early 1990s, English Theatre Berlin has invited numerous companies and performers such as Gare St. Lazare Players, Blue Raincoat, Inis Theatre, Ridiculusmus, Semper Fi Ireland, Chris O’Neill, Balloonatics, Lucid Productions, Meridian Theatre or Dubbeljoint to Berlin.

As a ten-day festival of new Irish theatre and performance, THE FULL IRISH both focuses on this programming concentration of English Theatre Berlin and provides a suitable cultural framework for the Irish theatre and literary scenes in the German capital during the year of the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Festival Director: Günther Grosser

Producing Artistic Director: Daniel Brunet

Company Manager: Heiko Orlowski
Technical Directors: Torsten Litschko / Christian Maith
Press & Public Relations: Sarah Rosenau
Fundraising & Public Relations: Matthias Dietzel
Design: studio adhoc

We would like to thank Martin Bailey/First Berlin, Sarah McGrath at the Irish Embassy Berlin, Christine Madden; Christine Sisk and Ciarán Walsh at Culture Ireland; Siobhán Bourke, Jane Daly and Claire O’Neill at the Irish Theatre Institute

ENGLISH THEATRE BERLIN
Main Stage + Studio
Fidicinstrasse 40
10965 Berlin
U6 + Bus 104 Platz der Luftbrücke
Bus M19 Mehringdamm
See it on Google Maps

TICKETS

All shows 20 € | 13 € students
Concert 10 €
All staged readings and panel discussion 5 €

BOOK THEM ONLINE HERE
and print at home!
Reservations: Email tickets@etberlin.de / Phone 030 691 1211

Press Tickets:

Sarah Rosenau
030 9900 8214
rosenau@etberlin.de

THE FULL IRISH is a ten-day festival celebrating contemporary Irish theatre and performance in the German capital during the year of the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European…

["post-9","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
