B wants a real hairdressers\u2019 scissors and a wife. D wants a Winter Wonderland snow globe and \u2018a big head of dirty auld curls\u2019. Mrs C, she wants a baby and will do anything to have one. And if they can all help each other to be happy, what\u2019s the harm in that?<\/p>\n<p><b>Carmel Winters<\/b> studied Drama &amp; English at Trinity College Dublin where she was awarded several prizes for outstanding academic achievement.\u00a0 Her debut film <i>Snap<\/i> (2010) was awarded Best Irish Film and Best Irish Director by the Dublin Film Critics Circle at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Carmel recently completed a writer&#8217;s residency at the National Theatre, London and is currently resident writer at the Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris. \u00a0Her new play <i>Best Man<\/i> will premiere at the Everyman, Cork Midsummer Festival this coming June before transferring to Project Arts, Dublin.
